Come to Lift

Today I come to lift
For you I humbly pray
For this is not about me
At least not for today

Today I come to lift
This may someone please
But even if it's not
I will love with ease

Today I come to lift
In doing I'll be blessed
But this is not my wish
For you are I confess

Today I come to lift
I pray I can be part
To ease your burdens born
To carry your broken heart

Today I came to lift
And though you may not see
Today you changed my life
For today you lifted me
